Patrick Waterhouse

Patrick Waterhouse (*1981) graduated with a BA Hons from the Camberwell College of Art in 2003. Since then he has produced a variety of work in many different media including drawings, prints, photographs and artist's books. He has recently worked with Fabrica to publish a fully illustrated version of Dante's Inferno.
Patrick Waterhouse is Editor-in-chief of COLORS, a mono thematic magazine published in six bilingual editions. In 2011 Patrick developed a new editorial direction  for Colors, both in terms of concept and design creating the Colors Survival Guides and a series with an interlinking narrative structure. Patrick's issues include 71 Welcome to Vorland, 81 Transport, 82 Shit,  83 Happiness, 84 Apocalypse, 85 Going to Market, 86 Making the News and 87 Looking at Art.
Since 2008 he has been working in collaboration with the South African artist Mikhael Subotzky on Ponte City, which won the Discovery Award at the 2011 Rencontres d’Arles Photography Festival.
Patrick's work has been exhibited at numerous venues including the South African National Gallery, Goodman Gallery Cape, Art Basel, The Design Museum London, The Daimler Chrysler Collection, The Walther Collection, ICP New York and has been published in the worldwide press.
