Michèle Champagne is a Canadian designer and writer who works in editorial and visual identity across media. Her focus is on open source dynamics—from crowdsourcing for dialogue in That New Design Smell magazine, to identity for Mediamatic Travel, a social network pinned to an open source platform. She recently spent four years in Holland with Sandberg Institute, Droog, Metahaven, Strelka Institute, Mediamatic, and VPRO, a Dutch public broadcaster. Michèle's writing is published with Volume in Amsterdam, Print in NYC, and OpenCity Projects in Toronto. In 2012, she was awarded Best in Show for Coupe magazine's International Design + Image Competition.
