Edward Vince graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2007 having studied Product Design. His work was subsequently published in design journals, magazines and books. He went on to produce and curate exhibitions and projects at international design events in London, Tokyo and Milan – including his first solo, which took place in 2010. Through his studio Vince & Son, as well as his previous position as Head of Design at The Future Laboratory, Edward has developed an extensive commercial portfolio. This has seen him art direct campaigns – including a recent brand campaign for Apple – produce full identities for companies including architecture firms and fashion brands, and also design several published books. Fascinated by publishing, the power of print and brand building, he founded TALC in 2013. Edward is the Editor in chief and Creative Director behind the project, which is an adult design magazine for modern times. Along with editors Fauzia Musa and Max Reyner, TALC launched in November last year via a successful Kickstarter campaign that far exceeded their target and expectations justifying their belief that there is a hunger for this type of magazine from both women and men.
